Combining experience, passion, and commitment to help schools create systems where both students and staff can thrive

Our Mission

To help schools and districts design, implement, and sustain effective Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) that improve academic, behavioral, and social-emotional outcomes for all students.

Our vision is for all schools to have MTSS systems that are practical, data-driven, and sustainably built for real classrooms, real staff, and real students.

Julia Weston, M.A.

My passion for education has been shaped by both my professional journey and my belief that every student deserves access to meaningful, effective support. In 2005, I graduated from the University of Wyoming with a dual degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Driven by a desire to better serve diverse learners, I went on to earn a master’s degree in Special Education, with a specific focus on working with students on the autism spectrum.

I grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, where I developed a deep appreciation for resilience, community, and the outdoors, values that continue to influence my work today. Over the course of my career, I have had the privilege of teaching and supporting students and educators across the country, including in Wyoming, Arkansas, New Mexico, New Jersey, and, since 2018, Colorado. These varied experiences have given me a broad perspective on the challenges schools face and the innovative practices that truly make a difference.

I am currently launching MTSS Consulting Solutions to support schools in implementing strong, sustainable Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). Effective MTSS implementation is critical because it ensures that academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports are proactive, data-driven, and equitable for all students. When implemented with fidelity, MTSS empowers educators to identify student needs early, provide targeted interventions, and create systems where both students and staff can thrive. My goal is to partner with schools to build practical, collaborative systems that lead to lasting improvement and positive outcomes.

Outside of my professional work, I find balance and inspiration in the outdoors. I enjoy running, reading, and spending time in the mountains. You can often find me water skiing, snowmobiling, four-wheeling, or camping, activities that recharge me and reflect my lifelong love of adventure and learning.

Through MTSS Consulting Solutions, I am excited to combine my experience, passion, and commitment to help schools create inclusive, supportive environments where every student has the opportunity to succeed.
